We’re Looking Good in the Second Half

Petkovic’s substitutions seem to be working. Koroman is doing his thing and Ljuboja is holding the ball up front well. A ball is bound to find its way to Zigic’s head. Serbo-Montenegrin fans are doing their best to help their team out.

Why didn’t the coach let that Georginovic (sorry, don’t know his name exactly)play more on the left. With that tall striker, he needed people on the wings to cross the ball in… I thought S&M were pretty good, but their coach let them down…

completely wrong line up by petkovic. they feared their own courage and started with a conservative first-11. how the hell did he think an unxperienced nenad djordjevic can play against robben? duljaj did a much better job against him and with koroman and zigic or even vukic from the beginning this could have been a totally different game. I still have hope against argentina. Nothing is lossed! but we need to change our team and strategy. Petkovic messed it up big time today. What a shock !

jan,

the guy you’re talking about is a central defender… so he wasn’t going to be going up the sides at all.

I think Jan is talking about Predrag Djordjevic.

Wrong line up to start - obviously the team talk at half time worked (taking from reports it looks as though the players decided their 2nd half tactics rather than the coach!!!!) and SCG came out fighting. Lets hope we get it right for the game against Argentina!!
